Green IT

IT is most important in today's century as lives have been more comfortable with these increasing technologies. But at the same time, it has been a disastrous as well because of the unwanted production of carbons and over utilization of the power or energy consumption. Green IT also known to be green technology describes the study and the use of the Information Technology in an efficient way which helps in reducing the waste as well as the consumption of the energy or power. According to the given article, it is said that power is consumed even when any companies or buildings are unoccupied. Different technologies consumes large amount of energy even if the equipment is switched off. So, in order to prevent the power from being wasted, we need to switch off equipments at the plug every time we switch it off. We need to aware every people about the effects that can be caused by IT equipments if we don't help ourselves as well as everyone by saving the energy. Excess usage of equipment leads to the production of unwanted carbon and gases that will degrade the environmental condition and may even cause global warming. So starting with us, with the knowledge of Green IT we will have to start saving the power and consumption of energy by directly switching off at the plug.
The energy calculator PC equipment helps in identifying the electric power consumed by the PC in a whole year that will help us find out the solution for consuming the power in a very less amount. Using this calculator we will be able to find out what can be done for further least consumption of energy. Also it calculates the electric consumption when the PC is in off mode or idle mode or on mode.
